On Monday 3rd November, we will be teaming up with Sager & Wine to host a Burgundy dinner at Planque, featuring winemakers Marthe Henry Boillot, Jonathan Purcell of Vin Noé and Claude de Nicolay Chandon de Briailles.
Burgundy has long been a melting pot of the traditional and the contemporary. These 3 winemakers, each with very different journeys, perfectly showcase the diversity of the famed Côte d’Or. We will hear from each of the winemakers, giving us their take on Burgundy today and their place in the region.
Expect wines both by the glass and by the bottle from each of the featured winemakers, plus plenty of other special references on the list. Seb will be putting together a bespoke menu that leans into the season, complementing the wines on show that night.
Doors will open at 6pm for a 7pm start. Dinner will be preceded by short talks from each of the winemakers.
Tickets cost £79, which includes the meal and a welcome glass.
Due to the nature of the event, it won’t be possible to cater to all dietary requirements.
Starting from this summer our opening times are changing. From Tuesday 1st August onwards, our restaurant will be open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, and for lunch on Saturday as usual.
Our last day open before the holidays is Saturday 5th August. We will be back as usual from Tuesday 15th August.
