For our upcoming guest chef collaboration, we are thrilled to welcome to our kitchen Adejoké (Joké) Bakare, founder and head chef of Chishuru, in Fitzrovia.
What began as a hobby for self-taught chef Joké, rapidly turned into a full-time pursuit. Within just a few years, she went from creating in her spare time home-cooked meals for family and friends, and supper clubs across London, to earning her first Michelin-star.
Today at Chishuru, Nigerian-born Joké shares a modern west African cuisine, drawing inspiration from her upbringing immersed in the country’s diverse regional traditions, with dishes featuring bold flavours and a rich array of typical ingredients, spices, and herbs.
Join us for an evening to discover Joké’s vibrant and joyful food, alongside a special selection of bottles and magnums from our cellar.
The menu will be a set, priced at £95 per person, with beverages charged additionally. Seatings will be available from 6:00 to 9:30pm.
Please note that due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to accommodate dietaries.
