Deeply woven into the cultural identities of France and Japan, the appreciation of craftsmanship and aesthetic spans from fine wine to gastronomy and all things art and beauty.
With so much in common, it’s no surprise if the last few decades have seen the emergence of a growing community of Japanese winemakers around the town of Beaune, in Burgundy.
Their dedication to the pursuit of excellence combined with the understanding of these terroirs, born from the collaboration with local growers, result in outstanding wines that could only come from these celebrated vineyards.
Join our head sommelier James Lewis in the dining room La Cachette to taste a selection featuring some of the most influential Japanese winemakers across Burgundy today, alongside snacks from the kitchen.
