Few grape varieties are more divisive than Chardonnay and Gamay, often eliciting opposing reactions in both seasoned wine lovers and newbies alike. However, in the hands of the right growers, both can produce the kind of vibrant, complex wines we love bringing to our table.
For this month’s wine dinner, we travel to Mâcon and the Beaujolais to visit some of the producers responsible for turning skeptics into fans. And who, by championing more sustainable and less invasive ways of working among the vines and in the cellar, allow these terroirs to shine through their wines.
Join our founder Jonathan in the dining room La Cachette for an intimate dinner, featuring wines from some of our favourite growers in the region, alongside a special menu by our chef Seb Myers. Please note that due to the nature of this event, we will not be able to accommodate dietaries.
