Cecilie Bahnsen x Planque
This April we launched a first-of-its-kind collaboration at Planque, partnering with friend and forever favourite Danish designer Cecilie Bahnsen.
The collaboration includes an in-house installation at Planque (a delicate curtain made in archive fabric from her Copenhagen atelier), as well as a set of table napkins featuring up-cycled couture elements from Cecilie Bahnsen archive collections. The limited edition napkin set can be found at the new Planque online pop-up store alongside Cecilie's Selection; her favourite books, ceramics and objects.
Planque and Cecilie Bahnsen have brought together their individual languages of food and fabric to create a unique piece of tableware; in a beautiful rich linen fabric embellished with Cecilie's signature, romantic style.
The collaborative napkins feature up-cycled couture elements from Cecilie Bahnsen archive collections. Available in a set of two, one features a delicate floral motif, created with couture embroidery and technique, the other, a paper-like fabric carefully shaped into a delicate bow. Both are completed with hand-embroidered beads in Bahnsen's Copenhagen Atelier.
A limited number of the Cecilie Bahnsen x Planque napkin are available from April through May at Planque Store alongside some of the designer's favourite objects and books.
Cecilie's selection includes Alphabet by Inger Christensen, the book-length poem first published in 1981 by Danish writer Inger Christensen. Unique, hand-blown glass objects by Nina Nørgaard and delicate, hand-made vases by Yukari Hotta.
The in-house installation at Planque includes a hand-crafted curtain made from archive fabric at Cecilie Bahnsen Copenhagen Atelier.
In the upcoming months, Planque will collaborate with designers and makers in fashion, furniture, literature, sound and more.
Our intention is to celebrate the diverse expressions of art and craft, shaping connections and sparking opportunities for unexpected encounters and collaborative creation. Stay tuned.
New Opening Times
Starting from this summer our opening times are changing. From Tuesday 1st August onwards, our restaurant will be open for dinner from Tuesday to Saturday, and for lunch on Saturday as usual.
Summer Break
Our last day open before the holidays is Saturday 5th August. We will be back as usual from Tuesday 15th August.
